    Best Answer: These carpet dyes are match by eye and not vehicle specific, if your carpets are dark blue then this may work very nicely.

    Best Answer: we have aerosol dyes as well as these liquid dyes. you would add this 8oz concentrate to make a 32oz bottle of liquid dye and you would put it in a spray bottle

    How many bottles of concrete do I need to dye a small car carpet?

    Best Answer: I would use 2 bottles. That way you should not run out. Make sure your carpet is really clean before applying and be liberal in the application. Make sure to brush well deep into the carpet. I used the detail king brush which has nice stiff bristles and was easy to use. You can always save any leftover solution for any later touch ups.

    Best Answer: This will not change the color of a carpet or cover up stains. This dye is a water-based, transparent dye meant for rejuvenating a faded carpet so it will take on the color of what is there, and add more, but it won't cover up a stain or change the color...

    Will this dye work for marine carpet?

    Best Answer: I used this in a 1999 RV with the original Ford E350 Econoline van carpet that was mostly faded from the sun and had some staining. My option was a full replacement which I felt it worth a shot to try the dye. The Shadow blue was a few shades darker than my faded carpet which was good, and was probably close to the original pre-faded color. It actually came out well enough that it is no longer noticeable how bad it looked and does not draw your attention to it. If I had to do it again, I would be more liberal with the application and clean the carpet better than I did at the start since the dye does not like to adhere well (soak in) to spots that were either still dirty or completely faded by the sun. However, It helped to apply a second and even third application to those areas. Definitely need to use their/a stiff brush to work the dye into the fibers. I would also recommend doing 2 applications/coats to get it more even instead of trying to get it perfect the first time. Also maybe keep a couple ounces at full strength to uses for any spots that do not take the dye well might help, although I did not do this. I had already diluted mine per the instructions.

    I do not see why it would not work for boat carpet, but you may want to check that the fiber material of your carpet is the material this dye is for. And my job passed the wife test, after complete, she didn't see anything wrong with the carpet and wondered why did I wanted to change it?

    It is definitely worth a shot if money is a concern and the job was easier than I expected. and this was the first time I ever dyed a carpet.

    Impressively Easy to Use Carpet Dye!
    I was skeptical at first since the dye appeared a bit diluted right out of the bottle, but the fact that it’s not overly strong is actually very helpful in that it allowed a novice like me to make my carpet look like new without risk of making it look blotchy. Wonderful product, and it matched my carpet exactly. The dye color is Shadow Blue. My original 1997 GMC blue carpet now looks like new and wasn’t in very bad shape at all before dying it. It’s tempting to try it on the front seat!
