    I have a 1979 fiat spider and am redoing the interior from light blue to black.
    The seats have been redone...outside in black leather with the centers in maroon cloth. I’ve redone the door panels black also. The kick plates however are a lighter to medium blue. I would like to dye these in a maroon to match the seats as close as possible. What do you recommend?

    Best Answer: These dyes are not formulated to change the color only enhance the original color. You could possibly try out Aerosol dyes for a color change but they were not designed to change the color either but they are less transparent than the liquids and could prove to be more effective.

    How many bottles will I need. To do carpet in a mini van keep same color?

    Best Answer: Probably only 2 bottles of the concentrate would be fine.

    Do you have the color for a 1984 Corvette that is red?

    Best Answer: These dyes are not specific to every make and model on the market, they are universal match by eye. I would think this would be a good match for that color but you may also want to consider the aerosol dyes we have as I can bet that red carpet is really faded and may need a dye that is less transparent than the liquid dyes.

    I was maybe hopping for more then it could do. Used it on the tops of the doors on a sun faded valor interior. It did help but now it looks like if you just used some dye it would be good as new.

    Yes if it helped, you would just want to do multiple applications until it is the color you are trying to reach!

    Works well, just takes more time to do several coats
    Used on the interior carpet and seats, worked well but needed several coats to cover seats that were sun bleached better than using paint which leaves the material stiff
