    Should you use this product on a dry carpet or damp carpet ?

    Best Answer: It is recommended to wait for the carpet to dry before applying the dye since this dye is water-based and you will dilute the color further if you apply to a wet carpet.

    Best Answer: I just dyed the carpet in my 2003 Tahoe. I bought 4 bottles of dye and ended up with about 1/2 a bottle extra.

    What if I want to change the color from cream or beige to your blue gray?

    Best Answer: These dyes are not formulated to change the original color, You may want to try Rit Carpet Dye for that.
