    I need to dye a light gray carpet dark gray what do you recommend?

    Best Answer: I've used the light and dark gray dyes, they were good but there's a catch. If there is severe discoloration (had gray carpet that turned almost faded green, and some with red bleached spots) you will not get it back to a natural color. It will combine to make something in between - in the case of the green it turned bluish. Where the color wasn't completely bleached, it worked a treat.

    Best Answer: I have not had that issue. I did use the bleach killer for the spots that were cleaned up with a spray bleach/ cleaner,
    And just made sure it was dry before brushing in the dye.
    Making sure it was bushed in well was just damp to the touch,
    Left the doors open to dry well before replacing mats,

    My wife spilled a bottle of bleach in the rear of a Sienna van and it bleached the carpet almost white in spots. The original color was Grey, will I be able to come close to the original with this?

    Best Answer: I used this on a customized carpet in a classic car. The carpet was bleached from the sun in multiple areas. The carpet looked great afterwards with a unified color. I did have a small area the next day that was a little lighter (where the bleaching was the worst) , I applied a little moe to the spot with no further issues.

    How many bottles of dye would I need to dye a 6ft by 5ft rug ?

    Best Answer: one bottle should do the trick, but it depends on how bad the carpet is. A quick revive should only need one bottle, but for a more heavily faded carpet you may need two

    Have a badly stained suburban I pull carpet out and pressure washed it out. BIG difference but there still a good bit of stains. It was a s light gray. Can I use the dark gray to help cover the stains? ( NO bleach stains)

    Best Answer: Hey Max!

    For any stains, you would want to look into using one of our aerosol dyes, as they do a better job of covering them and the liquid dye is more for a revival of the carpet that has been faded by the sun.

    Is it suutable to dye a mint green boat carpet?

    Best Answer: These dyes are match by eye. You can mail in a cut out and we can match it up that way.

    I accidentally poured bleach on my living room lined with grey carpeting and it stained a few spots making it very light like purple can I use this to help it go back to dark grey? Not extremely dark grey though.

    Best Answer: If you are trying to correct a bleach stain, you would want to use our aerosol dyes. You would also want to use some Bleach Neutralizer first to neutralize the bleach so that they dye will adhere.     Best Answer: If you are rejuvenating a faded carpet, you can use a liquid dye like this and if you are in between 2 options, go with the DARKER option. If you are trying to cover up stains or color is missing from the carpet, you will need to use our Aerosol Dyes and in that case you want to be as exact as possible!

    Best Answer: This can be used on carpet in your home as long as you are rejuvenating a faded carpet. This is not for changing the color of a stained area (you would want the Aerosol Dye if that is what you need to do).

    AWSOME PRODUCT!!!!
    This did a fabulous job on our 1997 Wrangler carpet . It was originally grey but had faded to almost white. This dye has returned it to almost new. 8 0z. will just complete a Jeep Wrangler. If I we doing it over I would like to have 10-12 oz.

    Great product
    I purchased this dye to change a chevrolet light titanium to a medium/dark grey to match new upholstry. It worked perfectly. The old carpets stains are gone and it looks better than the brand new ACC carpet that we were originally going to use.

    Junk yard to new.
    I bought a 1998 Toyota Rav 4 as a project car. The carpet was beyond repair and a new one would cost over $1000.00. I bought a very dirty used carpet from a wrecker, cleaned it in my driveway and reconditioned the carpet with your medium grey dye. Two years later it still looks like new. Excellent product!
