    So basically just to clarify, if I have light colored brown carpet, using the Dark Brown dye will not permanently dye it dark brown?

    Best Answer: Yes you can use a dark brown dye to darken the color of a light brown carpet. It won't completely change the color since it is a transparent dye, but it will darken the color. You can also do multiple applications to darken the color further!

    Best Answer: This dye is not intended to change the color as it sates on our web site. If you want it to darken the beige somewhat then you may have decent result, but again not intended to change the color.

    Good quality, user friendly dye!
    I was really impressed with the color depth of this dye, and how easy it was to use. Restored the look of the carpet and even some seat fabrics to new looking depth of color and consistency. Will definitely purchase again!

    Carpet dye
    This dye would not work on severely faded carpet. The helpline said it will not work on faded carpet. I wonder why this would ever be needed then?

    Mark I will be happy to replace the liquid with the aerosol to hopefully provide you better results. These liquids do work fine on faded carpets just not bad faded where the color is almost gone. That is when the aerosol will work better. Let me know. Thanks

    This is a great product and it doesn't leave your carpet stiff like the spray on dyes. Make sure you get enough if your carpet is really faded. Make sure your carpet is very clean and spot free for best results. When this product is used in the right situation and correctly, you will surprise yourself.

    Works great! Removed each carpet piece from a classic 45 year old BMW and followed the instructions on the bottle. Very easy and good results.

    It works great
    We used the dark brown dye to freshen up some faded tan carpet in a dodge ramcharger from California it worked awsome and the application was very easy we removed the carpet from the vehicle and did a total color change and it looks great be sure to buy enough though it took 5 bottles to do the ramcharger (2 door suv)
