- Forced gear-driven rotation allows for versatile polishing. The Rupes Mille LK900E features a forced circular motion for powerful cutting and a 5 mm oscillating motion that reduces the risk of overheating paint. This polisher can be used for heavier correcting and fine-tuned for lighter polishing and waxing.
- Includes two backing plates to adjust pad size for specific jobs. The Rupes Mille LK900E comes with 5” and 6” backing plates so you can pick the right size pad for the size of the area that needs polished.
- Adjust your polisher speed quickly and fluidly. The speed control dial offers six-speed settings that can be easily switched with your thumb while polishing. This means you don’t have to stop working to adjust your speed!
- Variable speed trigger and trigger lock allow for subtle adjustments in the dial range. The speed trigger acts as a throttle to further control speed within each speed setting. The trigger lock will lock the machine in motion so you don’t have to continuously hold the trigger – great for one-handed applications.
- Ergonomically built for control and comfort. Rubberized coating provides precise control on the handle and allows you to keep the polishing pad firmly flat on the targeted surface. It’s powerful enough for professionals and safe enough for novices!

What are forced-rotation polishers best used for?

Forced-rotation polishers can be used for everything from heavy correction to polishing to applying wax/sealant. They can truly be used for the entire paint correction process and you can get great results not only with little experience, but also with very minimal risk! Forced rotation polishers should NOT be used for sanding.
What is the difference between a forced rotation polisher and a rotary polisher?

Forced rotation polishers oscillate AND rotate at the same time in a fixed pattern, while rotary polishers only rotate and spin in a circular motion. Forced rotation polishers can achieve almost the same level of paint correction that a rotary polisher is capable of, with much less risk involved, less surface heat, more working time, and a better finish as the end result.
How much experience do I need to have to operate a forced rotation polisher?

Forced rotation polishers are very safe to use. There is not a high level of risk associated with using a forced polisher and beginners can achieve heavy paint correction without the risk associated with other types of polishers. There is always a risk when polishing paint but the risk is very minimal with a tool like this.

A New Beast

This thing mows through defects. I used the new GG wool pads, orange correcting pads with M105 & M205. Anyone who knows M105 knows it is very dust prone. It has a very short working time with the Mille. M205 was as smooth as ever. Order the Rupes Coarse Gel for the Mille as well as the whole set of BOSS creams. I Will see if that smooths out the compounding stage, the M105 drys up after a couple of passes. I appreciate the 30-foot cord and that both size backing plates are included. You are…

Would buy again. It will be interesting to see how it holds up since it gets hot during use.

Works well, has a long chord. But gets hot and is louder than my other polishers. I really like how it comes with two different sized backing plates and it is very easy to handle.
