The Mytee Lite III 8070 is the perfect heated carpet extractor for mobile auto detailers and small detail shops. Do not let its compact size fool you though. The Mytee 8070 heated extractor is a very powerful unit and will get the job done fast and efficiently. With its powerful 3 Stage vacuum, 120 PSI pump and 1000 Watt onboard heating system this Mytee Hot Water Extractor will make you money and increase your proficiency!

Detail King also offers an array of tools and accessories for the Mytee-Lite. In addition, Detail King offers the Mytee-Lite in various value packages. Please Note: At this time Mytee Products is not including an owner's manual with the new Mytee 8070 and are recommending that it be downloaded from their web site. If you are unable to do that we can provide you with a hard copy, just request it when placing your order with Detail King. Our Extractor Chemical & Maintenance Deluxe Kit has the products you will need not only to effectively clean upholstery and carpets but to also keep your extractor running efficiently every time you use it.

The Chemical & Maintenance Deluxe Kit is displayed as an “option” above and if ordered with this extractor the kit is discounted by $10. This kit includes one gallon of our Automotive Extractor Soap, one gallon of our Carpet & Upholstery Shampoo, one quart of both Extractor Defoamer and Mytee System Maintainer and a spray can of Hot Shot Stain Remover.

The Mytee-Lite ™ is known industry-wide for it's:

The Mytee-Lite ™ New Features
- Performance - The New Mytee-Lite now boasts an improved high performance 3-stage vacuum motor featuring 100 CFM and 130" of water lift! This unit also carries a 120 PSI pump, while putting out 1.3 GPM. Also, it has had modifications to its 1,000W heater making it the most efficient in its class, and reaching temperatures of 210ºF.
- Convenience - Mytee® also equipped the new Mytee-Lite with a 15' vacuum and internal solution hose combo. Also, a new handle with deeper baskets and a hanger for hoses. Additionally, now have the option to fill your extractor unit with a bucket or faucet fill. Finish your extracting work easily, with the new easy-empty tank drains.
- Safety - This unit now has 6" wheels and 2" locking casters in front, for stabilization and to prevent unwanted movement. In addition it now has a 25' power cord. Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to use distilled water in this machine?

It is not necessary to use distilled water in this extractor. It is BETTER to use distilled water and the machine won’t get build-up as easily in the lines but regular tap water can be used so most detailers use plain water.
What is the difference between a carpet extractor and a steamer?

Carpet extractors shoot out hot water and suck it back up so they are meant for deep cleaning carpet/upholstery. Vapor Steamers boil water and put out steam so are meant for surface cleaning on a variety of surfaces.
Should I put chemicals inside my extractor?

For best results and we recommend NOT putting chemical inside the extractor although you can. If you put chemical inside of the machine every time you squeeze the trigger you are applying more soap into the carpet and never rinsing it out. Soap in the carpet will dry stiff, be sticky, and attract dirt quicker. If you put only water inside of the machine apply the soap to the carpet/upholstery with a spray bottle, you will be able to rinse everything out and that will leave a much nicer and more professional end result. You will also need to run a descaling solution like our Extractor Maintainer through the machine much more frequently if running chemical through the machine.

Best Answer: I would use a dedicated vacuum like the Rigid 5hp 4gallon then follow with the Mytee lite 8070 if the interior is heavily soiled. Home Depot had a sale on the rigid vacuum last week for $69. I would not use the Mytee 8070 as a vacuum.

when using a generator in a mobile setting, what is the power draw in amps to use this device. It says 1000 w for heating which tells me over 4 amps to heat....How much total to extract while heating? in other words, what size generator would i need to just run this device?

Best Answer: You will need a generator that can put out 20 amps. This machine draws 19 amps with the pump, heater and vacuum on. This will be somewhere in the range of 3500-4500 watts but it all depends on how many amps the generator can put out. As long as the generator is rated to put out 20 amps it will run this machine!

Best Answer: The hot water injection helps breakdown the dirt in the fabric more efficiently. Basic chemistry, the higher the temperature, the faster the reaction.

Do I need a 220v outlet or can I use my 110v?

Best Answer: You can use your 110V outlet. I would make sure you don't have anything else plugged into that socket, this machine really pulls the electricity. It may trip the breaker if there is something else working in the same circuit.

Can it be used on leather seats??

Best Answer: I would say no. This is for carpets and cloth seats. If you are cleaning leather, you want to use steam with the MF towel attachment, or Lexol and a horse hair scrub brush, you can use a drill brush with no pressure and soft bristles as well.

Big bang for the buck

Had a PowerFlight Portable bigger than this one but this one kicks butt. Plenty of power and heats the water well. I have six older dogs and now my house smells nice again. I can carry it upstairs and I'm 61 years old and skinny. I bought the stainless wand for carpet and the hand wand is great for smaller jobs.

I ordered the mytee 8070. I expected to receive this machine within 7 to 10 days. The machine was delivered in 3 days. Would of been to my buisness in 2 days but snow storm delayed 1 extra day. Detail king emailing answers to my questions hours before store opens. Very happy with this machine.

Great shampoo machine. It had a defective extractor hose that broke in multiple places. When I called about my concern they advised they had a bad batch of hoses and had a new one to me in 3 days. In my book, service after the sale is sometimes more important than the product itself. In this case, I got a good product and the service, by Detail King,com, was excellent.
