    Because I have the other tornador liquid detailer and need to get sand out of carpets on my turo vehicles. When using that model, sand is removed from the carpet but it also sprays everywhere.

    Best Answer: It’s not so much pressure as it is volume that is needed to keep up with it. The larger the volume the tank has the less the compressor will have to work to keep up with it. It’s usally only used in short burst so most compressors will be fine.

    Mine worked fine out of the box, was kicking up the sand from the floor and sucking up great in the vacuum. After testing it out I walked away and came back to clean the van and the tip doesn't spin and it is not blowing up any more sand. Didn't make any changes, any suggestions?

    Best Answer: Yes you need to clean it out - when you suck up sand it can get lodged in the rotate set. Take the plastic cover off and see if you can move the rotate set with your finger. If so, submurge the tool in water, squeeze the trigger and get the rotate set spinning with your finger. That will help flush out any sand or debris that is lodged in the rotate set. Then, re-lubricate it with some WD40. If you would like further help don't hesitate to call us and we can walk you through this! (724-325-0008)

    What size compressor is best for this tool?

    Best Answer: I use a kobalt 8 gallon, single stage portable air compressor. I adjust the tool pressure to 90 psi and set the output on the tool at 90%. The allows me to work sections and the compressor to keep up.

    Tornador=time saved=$$$$$
    My “go to” tool for sand and pet hair. I use the Tornador Black as well. I’ve detailed for years without them but never will again! Such a time saver!
    Both are a great way to further dry carpet and upholstery after using an extractor.
    One of the great things about them is the availability of spare parts. Not only that but instructions and videos on how to service the tools yourself.

    It’s a tornador need I say more?!? It picks up the dirt that fell on the floor. No but seriously this tool is amazing! It will pick up dirt you dident know was there.
