    I have a 1959 corvette with red carpet that has black flecks in it. What will the red dye do/look like with the black in it?

    Best Answer: I had severly faded carpet in a 79 fairmont, the dye improved the condition but not to the pount of matching new. I would recommend it for light fading only. I did treat repeatedly with little additional improvement.

    Best Answer: I purchased the dye. But have not used it yet. So I can't say anything about it yet. Hopefully I will find the time to try it soon. I have high hopes.

    Best Answer: It only comes in a concentrate that must be mixed with as much as a quart of water. There are no samples available for carpet dyes. What year, make and model do you have?

    Best Answer: Yes you can do that - when mixing dark into light user VERY LITTLE amounts at a time. Don't add a lot of black at first. Try a drop or 2 and keep going until you get to the desired color!

    Does it repair bleach stain?
    PO67!

    Best Answer: NO this would not repair or cover up a bleach stain. If you have a bleach stain, you would need to use our Bleach Neutralizer first to neutralize the bleach, and then re-dye the carpet with our Aerosol Dye. This will leave the carpet stiff and will eventually wear off from foor traffic but is a last resort option as opposed to replacing the carpet.

    Red works well
    It works well on carpet that is faded a lighter color. I used mine for sun bleached carpet. The bottles dont go very far but still it is cheaper than new carpet. It looks 95% better so Im good.

    Renewed faded carpet
    Easy to use after mixing it with water with a spray bottle and a brace to make sure all the dye got to all the carpet

    Original carpet on my 1980 Corvette was faded. Found Corvette carpet dye for $80 a quart. Found Detailking dye for about $10 and decided to give it a try. Results were excellent. Dye brought out color and shine. Carpet looked almost new. I would recommend highly.
