The Mytee HP60 hot water extractor features two 5-gallon capacity tanks. The Mytee HP60 carpet extractor has a powerful 3 stage vacuum, 1200 watt in-line heating system and a 120 psi pump. The HP60 Spyder also comes standard with 15' vacuum and solution hoses and a durable Mytee AirLite Tool.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to use distilled water in this machine?

It is not necessary to use distilled water in this extractor. It is BETTER to use distilled water and the machine won’t get build-up as easily in the lines but regular tap water can be used so most detailers use plain water.
What is the difference between a carpet extractor and a steamer?

Carpet extractors shoot out hot water and suck it back up so they are meant for deep cleaning carpet/upholstery. Vapor Steamers boil water and put out steam so are meant for surface cleaning on a variety of surfaces.
Should I put chemicals inside my extractor?

For best results and we recommend NOT putting chemical inside the extractor although you can. If you put chemical inside of the machine every time you squeeze the trigger you are applying more soap into the carpet and never rinsing it out. Soap in the carpet will dry stiff, be sticky, and attract dirt quicker. If you put only water inside of the machine apply the soap to the carpet/upholstery with a spray bottle, you will be able to rinse everything out and that will leave a much nicer and more professional end result. You will also need to run a descaling solution like our Extractor Maintainer through the machine much more frequently if running chemical through the machine.

Can I use this to clean home carpets? And will the hose fit a carpet cleaning tool?

Best Answer: Keep in mind this unit only holds 4 gallons, you will need to continue to empty the dirty water and re fill clean water very often if cleaning a large room. Four gallons is designed to clean just about any passenger vehicle without refilling.

Also, once you attach the spray wand to it that will reduce the suction because you are adding on already to the hose. I would consider the HP120 or the HP60 if you are going to clean rooms.

would this work with a 2000 watt generator?

Best Answer: Most likely you will not be able to power this machine with a 2000 watt generator but you need to check the AMP output on the generator. This machine pulls 20 amps so if your generator is putting out 20 amps then it will work. If it is putting out anything lower than 20 amps it will definitely NOT power this machine.

Best Answer: My pleasure to answer this question, my generator is 6000w, I advise you to buy a generator at least 6000w upwards, your equipment will work with greater safety, Mytee Hp 60 is very powerful, an excellent carpet extractor.

Works well, read the instructions.

We bought this as a carpet cleaner for our condo building. It works really well as log as you follow the instructions and don’t expect it to work like a home carpet cleaner. There’s a specific order for turn on - or you’ll get ‘pressure lockout’, you need specific tools and cleaning products (think of this more as a rinser), and you need to actually empty the water out and be careful with storage - or they sprayer will rust & clog. Materials are good and construction is durable.
