    My pump sometimes turns on then stops 5 seconds later or will not turn on,this is first time using it brand new? Machine 8070 has been in its box for 2.3 years maybe that caused this?

    Best Answer: This is an on-demand pump so will prime itself, and then once it is primed/pressurized, it will shut off. If water sprays out when you squeeze the trigger, and if you don't have water leaking anywhere, there is nothing to worry about and everything is fine. If not, please call us and we will help troubleshoot this to get it running right!Over time, it might run differently and run intermittently, but as long as you have water in the machine this will not hurt or shorten the lifespan of the pump. If it annoys you we can walk you through making a minor adjustment to the set screw. Feel free to call us with any questions at 724-325-0008!

    Original OEM Pump With No Guesswork
    I've owned my Mytee 8070 since 2013. I was time for internal component replacements. I swapped the heater element last year. This year I replaced the delivery pump and vacuum motor (both purchased from Detail King).

    My pump was in a state of constant running once the power switch was flipped on. The power delivery had diminished some too but I had no idea just how much until I installed this new one. It's a night and day difference.

    Thanks for the Review! Yes this is a direct OEM replacement and the labor is pretty straight-forward. As mentioned, most important is to NOT overtighten the hoses since the pump head is plastic!
