• Description
  The Lake Country 3 Inch Backing Plate is made of a flexible, molded urethane. This backing plate bends to allow the polishing pad to conform to the curves of the vehicle. The end result is an even finish with less risk of buffer swirls. Inside the plate, steel struts are molded to the center hub for greater stability and balance. This backing plate will remain balanced through countless uses so you always get an even finish.
  
  An additional benefit of urethane is its resistance to heat. The Lake Country 3 3/4" backing plate minimizes heat transfer from the polisher to the paint to prevent burning, and spontaneous heat build-up is reduced.
  
  The Lake Country 3.75 inch (3 3/4") Flexible Backing Plate features Hook & Loop backing to accommodate our 4" pads. Change pads quickly and easily by pulling one off and pressing another onto the backing plate.
  
  The Rotary 3.75 inch Flexible Backing Plate allows you to use our 4" Lake Country foam Buff Spot polishing pads with your rotary polisher. The ability to use smaller pads will really come in handy when buffing tight to access areas and motorcycles.
