Hot Shot Stain & Spot Lifter
-
Hot Shot Stain & Spot Lifter is a powerful, non-solvent spray built to pull tough stains out of automotive carpet and upholstery. Spray it on the spot before you shampoo or extract: it loosens the grime and helps release grease, oil, tar, and other stubborn stains so the cleaning pass that follows can actually pull them out.
Highlight specs:
- Non-solvent spray formula
- Lifts tough stains from carpet and upholstery
- Works on oil-based and water-based stains
- Loosens grease, oil, tar, and other stubborn spots
- 30 to 60 second dwell as a dry-carpet pre-treatment
Hot Shot is a pre-treatment, not a standalone shampoo. Apply it while the carpet is still dry, give it time to work, then run your normal shampooing and extraction process.
Where Hot Shot fits in your carpet cleaning lineup
- Automotive Carpet Cleaner & Upholstery Shampoo: the routine shampoo for entire carpets and seats. Pick it for the shampoo and extraction pass that follows a Hot Shot pre-treatment.
- Bio-Zyme Enzyme Automotive Interior Cleaner: an enzyme cleaner for organic messes. Pick it when the stain is biological (vomit, urine, pet accidents) rather than grease, oil, or tar.
- P&S 3-Step Carpet Cleaning System: a complete three-product carpet and upholstery kit. Pick it when you want the pre-treat, deep-clean, and finish steps covered in one purchase.

Hot Shot is a stain and spot pre-treatment, not a full carpet shampoo. You spray it onto the stain while the carpet is dry, let it dwell, then shampoo or extract as usual. For cleaning entire carpets and seats, pair it with a dedicated carpet and upholstery shampoo.
-
Hot Shot loosens grease, oil, tar, and other tough stains on carpet and upholstery so they release during the shampooing and extraction that follows. It is effective on oil-based and water-based stains alike, so one bottle covers both sides of the spot work an interior detail throws at you.

Yes. Hot Shot is formulated for automotive upholstery as well as carpet. The process is the same on fabric seats as on carpeting: spray while the material is dry, let it sit 30 to 60 seconds, agitate with a dry towel or brush, then shampoo and extract. Repeat if needed.
