The Flex XFE 7-12 3” Mini Polisher is a free-spinning random orbital polisher that is perfect for removing paint imperfections from hard-to-reach areas. This polisher has all benefits of the Flex XFE15 in a compact, controlled, user-friendly model!

- Eliminate paint imperfections on hard-to-reach surfaces of your vehicle. The Flex XFE 7-12 3” Mini Polisher is great for areas such as window panels, door jambs, headlights, rocker panels, and in and around decals, raised lines, and emblems.
- A 12 mm orbit allows for highly efficient polishing. The Flex XFE 7-12 features a long throw that oscillates the polishing pad, mimicking hand waxing. An included counterweight allows for a smooth operation that allows you to finish jobs quicker.
- Ergonomically shaped for comfort and control. The “SoftGrip” design of the Flex XFE 7-12 fits securely in your hand to maximize precision and control. This decreases the chances of your hands becoming fatigued and slowing down the polishing process!
- The optimum cooling system is perfect for temperature-sensitive paint surfaces. The Flex XFE 7-12 has increased airflow that cools the surface of your polishing pad, and thus, the surface of your paint. This low heat generation greatly reduces the risk of damaging paint.

Which polisher is better for getting into deep hood vent areas the pe8 or XFE 7-12?

Best Answer: Either of these could be beneficial and it just depends on what you need to do. Here are the differences between the machines to help you make your decision:
-The PE8 is a rotary machine so that will allow you to get more aggressive compared to the XFE7-12.
-The PE8 has 3", 2" & 1" backing plate options, while the XFE7-12 has a 3" backing plate.
-The XFE7-12 will allow you to finish down finer for the polishing step since it is not a rotary machine.

Excellent tool

Size and throw is perfect for convex curves and tight areas. Awesome quality with smooth soft start mode. I replaced a cheap Griot's mini polisher with this one, what a difference. A bit pricey but if you put a value on quality and workmanship Flex is hard to beat. My only negative is the odd power switch which you push and tilt to lock on. Takes some getting used to. My other small rotary flex has the same switch, after a few days I got the feel of it and lock it on with a thumb motion.
