    Best Answer: We do not have a brochure of color dyes. These dyes are for automotive use only. You can mail us a cut out of your carpet if you have any so we can match it up. Thanks

    Best Answer: no you do not have to mask off, it would only adhere to cloth surfaces but will easily wipe off plastic surfaces with a wet towel

    you would want to be mostly dry, the more wet the more the color will be diluted down

    I have lite beige carpet can i use dark beige? So it doesnt show dirt as much.

    Best Answer: Detail King staff mentioned during training that the carpet dye should not be used to change the color of the carpet.
    I have used this product already and the carpet color was slightly lighter in color than the dye color. As a result, I had to dye the affected area and all the surrounding area. It worked well for me as the dye will fade to the lighter color with time and it has. Detail King staff also recommend to use one shade darker when dying carpet since the dye will fade slightly as it will.

    Worked some.
    Seems to bring some areas back and not others. I believe mine is sun died. Make sure you mask off because even though I was told it won't stain plastic it does in fact stain leather and vinyl. I'll probably try it again to see of the rest of the spots go away. Works, but not great in my case.

    Restoring an old Mits
    I had a bad experience with one of the auto carpet kits a few years ago so I decided to try dying the carpet in my 1990 Mitsubishi Montero that I am restoring. Following the directions, I used two bottles of the dark beige on the front and rear carpets. Out in the bright sun, you can still see the worn places and some stains, but I think after I get the carpets back in and reinstall the seats and the new floor mats the carpet will look very good.
