Our Foam Berm Car Wash Mat is made from a flexible heavy-duty poly material that is 40 mil thickness but more flexible than our model with the berm brackets. The foam berm is 4" high, and will contain all of your wash water while you are washing the vehicle. You can easily drive over the berm to go onto and to get off of the mat. The EPA is becoming stricter regarding car wash water runoff. Detail King has made it easy and affordable for mobile operators to contain their car wash water. Besides offering 100% biodegradable and environmentally products our car wash mats will help assure that you are being EPA compliant.

Approximately 75% of the wash water ends up in the mat from the vehicle that is being washed; the remainder evaporates while you are drying the vehicle. You must remove the water from the mat before folding it up and going to your next detail job or car wash. You can remove the water with either a pump or vacuum system and contain it in a holding tank until you can properly dispose of it. Detail King offers several options for water reclamation. Be sure you take a look at our Vacu Berm, Big Dog Water Reclamation System and our Mr. Green Waste Water Tank System within this department. Being EPA compliant is very important especially if you plan to operate your mobile detailing business close to bodies of water.

This unit costs considerably more than the above bracket style unit but saves set-up and break down time. Don't be fooled by less expensive vinyl models that may not hold up even under normal usage. I am started a mobile fleet wash service. Some of the vehicles I plan to clean are railroad large commercial trucks and other machinery like backhoes etc. Do you have any that are durable enough for that purpose? Also in some areas the mats maybe on sharp rocks. Are the mats thick enough as to not puncture through and rip the water catcher.

Best Answer: As you can see we offer a ground cover that should be placed under the car wash matt especially if you are working on surfaces that will have objects that can cause damage to the car wash mat. The non vinyl mats are 40 Mil thick and the most heavy duty in the industry. These are the exact mats that trucking companies use when they must be cautious about containing substances from their tractor trailer. Obviously good common sense must prevail to make sure their are not sharp object under the mat.

Best Answer: There is no warranty due to there not being anything mechanical but if taken care of properly and not abused it will last for years. If there was an issue at the time of delivery we would of course make sure that we address and fix that.
