Thanks for the review - depending on how long the bleach had been there and how it was cleaned prior, you could get varying performance. It is always safest to use the bleach neutralizer because if you don't the dye might not adhere to the fibers. Also, you might find that the areas that look the same now, might not hold the dye as long as time goes by.

OK as far as I can tell.
Not sure how much it helped, bleached out spots did take dye but not the same as non bleached area. It does look much better, not 100% but maybe 80%. Cleaning may have been just as effective but did not try that.

Bleach neutralizer
I think this product is really useful. I had a very large bleach stain and I do think this helped the carpet take to the dye easier. I just followed the instructions and it did a better job than my initial expectation.

a bottle of bleach fell over and leaked a bit under a floor mat and completely turned the black carpet white. It was recommended to neutralize the area that was bleached before atemptin to redye the carpet
To neutralize the bleach stains before dying the rear carpet.
