    I have a 1990 BMW 325 convertible, the carpet is beige. should I use the light, dark or medium beige to best match and dye the entire interior carpet? Thanks.

    Best Answer: Therein lies the problem with product; it's literally guesswork with colors other than black, red, gray, etc.
    I accomplished nothing as I should have probably gone with dark beige.
    Would have been nice to have had a general color chart.

    How to dye home  carpet?

    Best Answer: Hello - You would mix as per the instructions on the bottle, spray the dye onto the area you would like to apply it to, and then use a stiff nylon brush to work the dye into the carpet fibers.

    Had some bleached out spots, used product as directed and saw no color change at all.

    Product much lighter in color then indicated, after applying and brushing as directed, the rug fibers came out leaving bald spots and turned some fibers green. Did not work for me and freight was higher then the product. JD
